Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev got 4 stars in QS Stars University Ratings from the British consulting company QS Quacquarelli Symonds. As such, KNRTU-KAI joins the list of other Russian universities as RUDN University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, SybFU, KFU, that also ranked 4 stars, and bypassed Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and RSSU.
QS Stars University Ratings provided by QS Quacquarelli Symonds company allows students and educational experts to get holistic impression about institutions as much as possible. Unlike other rankings, where universities rank in a general table depending on the number of points scored, in the QS Stars ranking, universities receive a fixed score from 1 to 5 in a number of areas - from the quality of education and research to the development of sports and social infrastructure and accessibility for persons with disabilities.
