Competitors will be faced with making a composite Porsche car model.
On Tuesday, October 16, School of Competence Development «”Composites Technologies" for students of universities, colleges and young professionals» by the WorldSkills method opened in KNRTU-KAI. Competitions are held with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sergey Mikhailov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Andrey Fedorov, Head of the Corporate Governance Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The main task is to make a product - a large-scale model of Porsche car – out of composite, so that its design and properties correspond to the technical specification.
The participants will be evaluated by an expert council consisting of the chief expert, Deputy director of “KAI-Composite” engineering center Arseny Polyayev, and the Deputy Head of the Research and Development Department of KNRTU-KAI Konstantin Faizullin.
It should be noted that the students of KNRTU-KAI, the Kazan Aviation-Technical College named after P. V. Dementiev, and also young specialists of industrial enterprises passed the competition. According to the results, the participants that passed the selection would go training at the specialized competence center in Moscow. Then they will perform at the WorldSkills regional championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in November 2018. The winning team of the regional championship will take part in the all-Russian WorldSkills 2019 competition, according to the results of which participants can be selected to the national team of the Russian Federation to play at the world WorldSkills championship in 2019 in Kazan.
