The Board of Trustees Meeting was held at KNRTU-KAI

The Tatarstan Prime Minister Mr. Alexey Pesoshin held the Board of Trustees meeting of KNRTU-KAI

“The main goal of the Board of Trustees is the consolidation of organizational, financial and intellectual resources for the implementation of strategic projects of the university,” said Mr. Alexey Pesoshin. – Let me remind you that the period from 2022 to 2031 has been dedicated to the science and technology in Russia. The president of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin has set a number of ambitious goals, such as increasing scientific and technological potential of the country, achieving its technological sovereignty, and these goals cannot be achieved without direct all regions of Russia.”

Mr. Aleksey Pesoshin also noted that on November 15, 2022 during the meeting of the Council for Science and Education the program for scientific and technological development of Tatarstan until 2030 was considered. “A great contribution to this can be made by the close cooperation of universities and industrial enterprises, the implementation of new developments into production, the development of priority innovative areas, and the import substitution. It is necessary to bring the scientific and educational complex to a fundamentally new level, to jointly improve the system of training of specialist demanded by employers and capable of solving different tasks.”

“KAI has been making a distinctive progress in the educational, scientific, international relations fields, etc. All these achievements would not have been possible without an active support of the Tatarstan government and members of the Board of Trustees,” said the Acting rector of KNRTU-KAI Dr. Timur Alibaev during this event.

Members of the Board of Trustees also discussed the organizational issues and voted for the submitted work plan of the Board of Trustees for 2023.

During the meeting, it was decided to hold meetings of the Board of Trustees of KNRTU-KAI once a quarter. In addition, some members of the Board of Trustees made their proposals for the further development of the university.
