GRIAT students can benefit from grants to study and train abroad. They can apply for a number of scholarships offered by the government of Tatarstan Republic, GRIAT industry partners and the European commission program for education and training. These scholarships mostly cover travel, stay, costs and medical insurance of GRIAT students during their academic semester at a German partner-university.

Recently, all of GRIAT students have used an opportunity to study abroad thanks to different

international grants and programs here.

A lot of GRIAT students regularly apply for different scholarships covering their stay at German partner-universities.

Among GRIAT master students there are 36 grant recipients of the Tatarstan government “Algarysh” aimed at  training, retraining and internship at Russian and foreign educational and scientific organisations, and there are also 15 grant holders of the President of the Tatarstan Republic for excellent study and scientific achievements. Among other distinguished students there are:

Suleymanova Naima – a GRIAT student of the program “Chemical and electrical engineering” of the first flow, Erasmus+ scholarship holder;

Yrayeva Luisa – a GRIAT student of the program “Communications and signal processing” of the first flow, monitor of all groups, participant of the international project “Ranepa International Summer Campus 2015", participant of the competitive selection of V. Potanin grant, trainee of the Youth School “Discovering talents” 1-6 December 2014;

Bikmukhamedov Radion- one of the best GRIAT students of the program “Communications and signal processing” of the first flow, recipient of the grant from the Charity Fund V. Potanin;

Mukhambetaliev Dilshat- a GRIAT student of the program “Research in computers and systems engineering” of the second flow, president of KNRTU-KAI  Association of international students and postgraduates (AISP KNRTU-KAI);

Klimashin Mikhail- a GRIAT student of the program “Chemical and electrical engineering” of the second flow, chair of the Students’ Council of the 7th dormitory, winner of various singing contests, publishes his poems in collections of poems of the Tatarstan Republic;

Ujschenko Maria, Gibalina Zlata and Fadeev Vladimir – GRIAT students of the program “Communications and signal processing” of the second flow, and also recipients of the "ICL-GDC" grant.
